Medicaid is not often a widely accepted form of payment in many assisted living communities. Long-Term Care Medicaid, however, is a valuable resource to assist in the cost of services and medication assistance at times. At Pavilion Senior Living, we accept most forms of Medicaid to assist our residents in being able to afford the care they deserve. LTC Medicaid does not replace the requirement to pay but helps with the cost of care and assistance with medications. Room and board are still required as negotiated by the community.

There are strict requirements for Florida to approve an LTC Medicaid claim and currently has a waiting list that can take several years. We encourage residents who are concerned about their long-term finances to apply to ensure they are on the waiting list when the need arises.
